About Black Creek Parent
A whole lot of the kids’ entertainment world is just empty calories. We believe that we can do better, and still have a lot of fun! ‘Black Creek Parent’ is a forum for parents (and educators) interested in engaging experiences for children and families. Based in beautiful Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto, Ontario, we have been a favourite destination for families for decades. We want to do more by offering ideas and inspiration to a new generation of visitors and friends. We hope you will join us!

Eric Philpott is a father of five and was a teacher for 18 years in Germany and here in Toronto before starting his own communications business. Eric loves his children and loves stories, and enjoys connecting with other parents, teachers, and anyone else interested in helping children grow into happy, healthy, and involved adults.
